2010 Community Indicators Released

September 9, 2010 (Syracuse, NY) – Over the past year, Community Foundation staff worked closely with the Community Benchmarks Program (CBP) of the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, FOCUS Greater Syracuse and others to refine and expand a set of community indicators for Onondaga County with the goal of creating a shared indicators project.

This kind of collaboration allows for the coordination of efforts across organizational boundaries and encourages the activation of new resources to address proven areas of need in our community. The long-term goal of this project is to build mechanisms for tracking the indicators over time in order to help with community planning.

The final report is available for viewing here.
